Becoming Peruicanos

Peruicanos: Here we are, experiencing this new phenomena of becoming "Peruicanos." Many have successfully done it, but this is a first hand trip through the transformation. We are adapting from being "Peruano" and "Americana" to something much greater: Peruicanos. Yes, it's a made up word, but a very real situation. Intercultural relationships are not rare and certainly not easy, but they create something beautiful, a new small bubble of culture within their walls. Join us through the experience. The couple: Angela and Daniel met in Lima under questionable circumstances. Or rather, at church through mutual friends, whatever. A few months later and they were good friends; not long after she tricked him into falling in love with her. And they have been a formidable team since February 2012. Mutual hobbies include: Chasing bubbles, eating, wandering through Lima, eating, sugar highs, eating, observing human nature, eating and not at all least, following God together.
